| | Atlanta BeltLine Southside Trail-West Officially Under Construction | | We hope you were able to join us on January 22 at the groundbreaking for the first phase of the Southside Trail! Everyone who came out felt the excitement of starting construction on another key segment of the Atlanta BeltLine. Thanks so much to Mayor Bottoms and other elected officials, as well as all the donors, sponsors, partners and other supporters who joined us for the celebration! Photo above by The Sintoses. The western-most mile of the trail is now closed for construction. The trail is closed at the southern terminus of the paved Westside Trail, the concrete access point at University Ave., the stairs at Metropolitan Pkwy., and west of the stairs at Pryor Rd. The closure extends between University Ave. and Pryor Rd., so trail users will need to exit the corridor and use sidewalks along surface streets between the two locations. The rest of the Southside Interim Trail - from Pryor Rd. to Glenwood Ave. - remains open to the public during construction. | | RSVP: Should I Stay or Sell?
