ASME Sneak Peek Next GBM Daytona 500 Volunteering Event Study Hall Blue Origin Panel E-Week Volunteering Event ASME Movie Night Membership Sign-Ups February 10, 2020 Newsletter Next GBM Our second GBM will take place on Wednesday, February 12th from 6:30PM - 8PM in CB2 room 206. You don't want to miss our GBM, we will be discussing our projects for this semester so make sure to mark your calendars! Daytona 500 Volunteering Event Couldn't make it to the Rolex 24 race? No problem! We will be running concessions stands at the Daytona 500 race Sunday, February 16. And just like Rolex 24, you will be able to see the race for free!! This is the last week to sign up! Make sure to fill out this interest form if you are available to help out 😊 Study Hall Thank you to everyone who filled out the Study Hall survey on Slack. Based on the responses we received, we will be holding our study halls Mondays from 3PM -6PM. We will be meeting in BA1 Room 207 every Monday starting TODAY!  Blue Origin Panel SEDS and ASME have partnered to bring a panel of Blue Origin Engineers who will talk about the paths they took to get to Blue, their lessons learned, what it takes to be a successful engineer, and what to expect in the first few years of being out in the industry. Recruiters from the university relations team will also give some guidance on resumes and interviews. This event will take place on Wednesday, February 19th, time and location will be announced in Slack and our social media. E-Week Volunteering Event ASME will be participating as part of E-Week on Wednesday, February 19th from 10AM - 2PM. We will be teaching students from local elementary schools (and our volunteers) how to construct a Hydraulic Arm! This is a great way to give back to the community! If you are interested, fill out this interest form. ASME Movie Night  Come out to our Movie Night Friday, February 21st from 7PM - 9PM!
